XENIA, Ohio -- As soon as the first snow flakes fell on Sunday, people around the region started stocking up on supplies.

Snow showers have been around all morning long, and people told News Center 7 that they are worried about the possible hazardous conditions and they wanted to be prepared for it.

Handyman Hardware in Xenia has been busy all day. People have been stocking up on salt, de-icer, ice scrapers and other cold weather supplies.

People told News Center 7’s Gabrielle Enright that they wanted to get the items they needed now, so they did not have to worry about it later.

They also said they did not want to fight any crowds who might flock to the stores at the last minute.
