READ THE ORDER: Northtown Sports Bar And Grill OrderLaura Fulton, who has spent two decades working at the bar and grill said, "It's a neighborhood place. It's been here for many, many years."A letter from the Department of Commerce and Liquor Control has denied the renewal of the bar's liquor license.Fulton said, "It would ruin us. I'm sure it would."The rejection came after Harrison Township trustees and the Montgomery County prosecutors office showed strong objections to the license renewal. In a letter from Liquor Control to the Northtown Bar and Grill, officials cited 74 police calls to the North Main Street business between April 2007 and April 2008. They claimed the bar has turned into a hangout for gang members, and said it has become a hazard for the neighborhood. But, Laura Fulton said that's not true. Fulton said, "It's family. Everybody knows everybody, everybody gets along. Naturally you have your little problems, but no shootings, nothing like that in here, no."Fulton said the owner of the bar and grill will be appealing the decision.
